Program:  California's new clean air laws will transform the way that contractors and their customers build in the future.  Although in 2010 the construction industry was given more time to upgrade equipment, deadlines are approaching rapidly and new reporting, labeling and compliance dates are required of contractors.  Virtually every diesel engine used in construction projects has a clean up mandate over the next decade and project delivery and cost will be affected along the way.  Also, both public agencies and private debelopers should ensure that they have only compliant contractors on jobsites.  There is a significant downsize to owning or contracting equipment that does not meet statewide standards.  Our speaker Sean Edgar, Director of CleanFleets.net, is a recognized expert in statewide diesel engine regulations and will provide practical advice to contractors and contracting authorities.  Come hear how recent changes to state diesel rules affect you!
